HOME RECIPE FOR YOUR DOG, IF IT HAS BEEN SPRAYED BY A SKUNK!

That’s right, it’s Spring, so you know what that means.  In the upcoming months our dogs will be finding skunks roaming around our neighborhoods after dark, and as a result, will occasionally end up getting sprayed as payment for their curiosity.

The following formula was created by a Veterinarian years ago, and it works every time.

Follow the instructions carefully.

Gather these ingredients:

One quart of Hydrogen Peroxide

One-half cup of Baking Soda

One teaspoon of any liquid dishwashing soap

Mix these ingredients together IN AN OPEN CONTAINER (Like a bucket).

Draw a lukewarm bath for your dog and place him or her in it.

Apply this formula to their fur, being sure to get them all sudsy, all the way to the skin.

Let this soak in thoroughly for a few minutes, then rinse it all off.

IMPORTANT:  Discard any formula that is left.  IF YOU TRY TO STORE IT IN A SEALED CONTAINER,

YOU RISK THAT CONTAINER EXPLODING!
